Costs & Logistics

The cost to register for the Techfair depends on the package you choose. There are 3 packages:

Basic - $550 plus tax

Standard - $650 plus tax

Premium - $750 plus tax

Designated area of 8' deep by 10' wide. These dimensions cannot be exceeded.

The cost for food functions for each additional representative is $35. Number of representatives must be specified at registration.

Registration Deadline

The deadline to register is Friday, September 6, 2013. Registration may close earlier if the maximum number of spots has been reached. Due to capacity constraints we cannot accept late registrations.

Modifying Your Registration Information

You can edit your information by clicking here. You will need your username and your password. If you have lost your username or password, please email the Engineering Career Centre at careers4engineers@mcgill.ca. The number of company representatives attending must be specified at the time of registration. Changes to company profile or logo must be submitted by September 12, 2013 at 5 p.m. Names for attending representatives must be submitted by September 20, 2013 to ensure that printed name-tags are available for them. After September 20, 2013 we cannot guarantee printed name-tags and encourage you to bring your own.

Cancellations

No cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations prior to August 16, 2013 at midnight. A 50% cancellation fee will be charged for cancellation received between August 17, 2013 and August 23, 2013 at midnight. No cancellations will be accepted after August 23, 2013 – the full participation fee will be charged.

Techfair Booklet Submission Deadline

Your profile and logo needs to be submitted by September 6, 2013 in order to be included in the print edition of the Techfair booklet.
Some ideas on what to include in your profile:
   •   What does your company do?
   •   What jobs do new engineering/computer science/physical sciences grads perform in your organization or company? Are you looking to hire new grads, summer employees, and/or interns?
   •   What is special about your company?

Booth Setup & Hours

Booth set up begins at 8:00 a.m. (no prior setup is feasable) and includes:
• Skirted table with white table cloth and two chairs
• Internet, electrical power supply
Specific locations will be determined one week prior to the Fair and will be announced by email.
Techfair hours are 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Shipment of Boxes and Materials:

Items must be clearly labeled and directed as follows:

Exhibitor's Name (example: Company ABC)
Name of the event: McGill University Engineering & Technology Career Fair
Date of event: Wednesday, September 25, 2013 or Thursday, September 26, 2013

CARE OF:

Box # 1 of 2, 2 of 2, etc.

Please note the exhibitor is fully responsible for his booth delivery to the exhibition location.

Exhibit materials/boxes cannot be received at New Residence Hall no earlier than 24 hours prior to the event day.

New Residence Hall shall not be responsible for the damage or loss of any personal property and equipment left during and following the event.

Shipment of Boxes and Materials from New Residence Hall:

Client is entirely responsible for all charges related to courier pick-up and drop-off including clearance on duty.

In the case that the account number is invalid, New Residence Hall is entitled to refuse the pick-up.

Parking

Parking is not included in the registration package.
